# [Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Strange NextGEN error

 * Hello,
 * Hopefully somebody can help me here,
    Today when I tried to import new Images
   I received this error message:
 * “Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 262144 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate
   3200 bytes) in /home/<home dir>/public_html/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/
   lib/gd.thumbnail.inc.php on line 176”
 * incidentally, last week I received a Error: Exceed Memory limit
    but a solution
   was easily found by removing the comments from // @ini_set(‘memory_limit’, ‘128M’)
 * could these be related?
    Any advice would be appreciated,
