  • Hi everyone,

I’m using wordpress 3.2.1 with nextGen Gallery 1.8.2 and the Delirium Theme from Themeshift.

Most of the Plugin functionality works fine (and I am very happy with NextGen Gallery) But there is one irritating bug popping up, when I do an album view.

    Using the shortcode
    [album id=1 template=extended]

Should display my pictures from gigs in Linz. And it does. BUT strange Code tags appear in the output, namely, any text inside the gallery is put in <code> and additional blocks appear at the front and at the end, just containing <p><code> </code></p>

Firefox forces these codeTags to render in a courier font. Very ugly. Chromium seems to place the code tags differently, whiche made me think of maybe a strange structure inside the html that made the browser try to work around it? however, removing the code tags cia firebug makes the result looks all nice.

You can look at the page here:

funnily enough, changing the gallery tape to compact doesnt change a thing in the display. It still looks “extended”. So this might hint to a version issue?

I’d be happy for any feedback, as I am absolutely stumped about this. Thanks in Advance!
    Your’s,

I solved the problem. Another plugin added code tags around the gallery tag, resulting for some reason, in multiple ‘< code >’ tags inside the gallery output.

Could you please share which plugin that was? I am having the same effect, disabling the other plugins does not seem to have an effect?
