[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Slideshow pIctures endlessly blink and hang browser

    Hi. I love this plugin, the way it works and looks, but I am having an intractable problem. I’ve created a gallery but when I view it using “PicLens” (as a slideshow) the individual pictures flash and flash, and they hang my browser (I can’t click out of the flashing popped-up picture.)

    I’m using the Firefox browser, version 3.5.7

    You can see the behavior here (I’ve password protected the page so people don’t get their browsers hung looking at my post!)

    Additional fussing around with it indicates that it’s a problem with the JavaScript Thumbnail effect “Shutter”. The problem doesn’t happen with “Thickbox”. However, Thickbox doesn’t allow for captioning of the photo, as far as I can tell, whereas “Shutter” does. I can’t quite understand the language on the “Effects” options page, so I’m not sure how to access the other effect options (e.g., Lightbox, etc.)

    Just FYI in case anyone is interested.
