• Hi everyone. Have searched and searched and can’t find an answer, so I’ll start my own topic…

I’m using Nextgen Gallery, I really like it, works beautifully for what I need. The administration area is very nice in particular.

Is there a way to get the slideshow display to scale on a post?

I customised the nggallery display to show small squares instead of thumbnails, and this scaled – although not proportionally – and I’m not sure why.

I can’t see how to get the slideshow display to scale (without using the flash plugin).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

  • You want to resize it ? It should be use the width & height from the settings or you define it at the shortcode itself [slideshow id=x w=300 h=209]

    Hi Alex,

Yes, I want to re-size it. A fixed size is no problem.

I would like it to scale when someone is looking at it on a larger screen. So that when they enlarge their browser window, that it will scale up proportionally.

I’m aware of potential problems with image resolution when doing this, however it is a request from the client.

Currently it scales down nicely – eg on ipad. But I can’t find how to scale it up. I tried using percentage to over-ride the variable $height and $width in the nggfunctions.php – but this did not work.

    Thanks, Emma.
