# [Plugin: nextgen-gallery] Slideshow issues

 * Hi,
 * What an awesome plug-in!
 * Just having a couple of minor issues with the slideshow at [](http://www.magrill.com/gwen)
   in both Firefox & IE. I find that when I mouse over the slideshow the title layer
   stops working and also, a number ‘1’ and a vertical seperator has appeared at
   the left side of the title layer. It wasn’t there before and I have no idea why
   I changed that made it appear.
 * Any suggestions gratefully received.

    have you tried another theme just for testing if the problem persists? Could
   be a theme(css) issue.

 * Hi,
    thanks for the link i tried to recreate the problem and this is what i’m
   guessing now, the slideshow fetches the alt or description text to show and it
   seems to me like it is orientating itself on the longest text of all pictures
   shown try setting up another gallery for testing and leave as its default showing
   only (short) filenames.

 * Thanks bee, did as you suggested and now I understand – the text that is being
   displayed forms part of the navigation bar but because the Alt & Title text is
   quite long, it’s losing the navigation elements and the number that is displayed
   is the last digit of the number of slides. (I’ve just made the text even longer
   to push the number and separator off the page as don’t want people moving the
   cursor over the image until the other issue is resolved.)
 * Any idea what is causing the navigation bar to disappear when the mouse is moved
   over the image area? It seems to display as long as the cursor is moving on the
   image area but disappears when there is no movement in the image area.
 * Is there any way to display the description as well as the navigation bar?
 * Is it possible to stop the audio track after playing once?

 * Is there any solution to this issue? It’s a shame as otherwise it’s a brilliant
   plug-in.
 * Is it possible to port it over for use with CMS Made Simple too?
