  • i would like to show just the first image in the gallery, and then when the user clicks on the image they an view the rest of the images in the gallery via the lightbox overlay.

    how is this possible?

    any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Did you found a solution? I’m looking for something similar: show 1 pic on page (no thumbnail) and when you click it, you can navigate through all of the pics in that gallery/album in thickbox.

    mibsolutionsllc: You can create an Album, then drag the gallery into that Album. Then on your page, insert the Album (instead of the Gallery) using Compact mode… Then in the Options > Gallery tab, make sure not to check the “Deactivate gallery page link” box.

    amj: Sorry, I’m not sure on that one, but I think it just automatically works that way when you click on the first image in a gallery.
