[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] SAFE MODE ON – how to fix, won't create folders

    Had same problem, get on it quick. Mine got worse within three days.

    Started Friday, uploader said gallery did not exist, even though I could see it on FTP and had already put several pics in.

    Changed permissions, still no go.

    Last night (Sunday), uploader doesn’t see ANY galleries. And then it completely disappears from plugins, menu and everything.

    The files are still there according to FTP. And all I got on the website is a bunch of shortcodes.

    ssuprised its not fixed yet, found this:

    added this code to:
    define(‘SAFE_MODE’, FALSE);
    after line 72 in nggallery.php to disable safe_mode check.

    did not help
