[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Resize HiRes Image – Never ending story?

  • Hello,

    Simple questions.
Why resize not working properly? But I still fail?

Pictures max 2000px change just fine, but when it is a little bigger size, resize to do nothing.

I tried various online resize API all works great – so why do not resize ngg?

All limits in php.ini I set high. Around 512 megabytes .. upload, memory, etc. post.

I need to auto resize all photos (1024px max width) (random photographer = random size)

Today all the cameras taking pictures in high resolution – and I want to know ngg to reduce those images

Please check what is the optimum solutions – Code Modification or force everyone Uploader shrink photos manually.

    Sorry my poor english

I have the same problem. 3008×2000 pixels. SOMETIMES i can re-size to 1024×768 and it will do a few of them… most often it won’t, just one at a time

Even creating thumbnails will fail, after a certain (random) percentage.
I turned up limits in php.ini and gd.imagelibrary and nothing…. no matter what I do.

    Any help is appreciated, folks!

Oh and applying watermark… almost any image operation cannot be relied on at these sizes!
