    when you upload pictures there is an option to scale down the images. I guess this makes the images being resized before it is acutually getting uploaded. I don’t know the technique used to do this, but I guess it is done with the help of javascript.
    The problem is, that if you let ngg scale down your picture before uploading, the result just looks bad because there is no interpolation at all. besides that, the resulting image has a really huge file size.

    so, whats the problem with that? Am I the only one who wants to use this feature or who noticed that behaviour?
    what can I do about it? is there a way to add some interpolation and make the result smaller?
