# [Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Random Images widget issue

 * I’m not sure if it was happening before my upgrade, and I looked through a few
   pages before posting to see if there was a similar question, and could find none.
 * The Random Images sidebar widget is no longer putting up random images. It is
   now currently fixed onto the same four images and I can’t seem to figure out 
   why that is or what to do to fix it. Is there a file I need to update?

 * From which version do you upgrade ? have you reset the settings one time ?

 * Upgraded to 2.6 from 2.5.1 – And I do not recall having this problem while using
   the previous version. Not reset any settings, not sure how to go about that…

 * I went to the side bar settings for the widget I was using, and found an option
   I did not notice before to select a radio button for “Random” or “Recent”. I 
   selected random, saved and it’s fine now. Guess that either got un-selected, 
   or changed on update and I didn’t realize.
 * Had never looked there before, but now I know, so sorry for leaping the gun before
   checking all the details.
 * I love the NextGEN it’s the best gallery I’ve used 🙂 Thank you!!
