[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Question on html use in captions

  • hey there, gotta couple questions here.

I’m trying to create a gallery that:

    • displays caption info which includes a download link (or icon) on *both* the gallery page as well as the individual images on the pop-up window.

Problem is, I’m not able to get the captions to display at all on the gallery page, and the individual captions don’t appear to be supporting html.

I used the captions shortcode for the gallery page, but no dice.

Further, how does the html actually work in the captions entry field? Do you paste raw html code in the captions field, or paste from a WYSIWYG editor, or..? All I see here is a plain old text entry field, with no editor functions.

    One last question:

I’ve been trying to change the title info on this demo gallery’s images, and it keeps forcing itself back to the exif data, which is actually grabbing the first bits of Description meta. I can replace the exif caption info, but not the title.

    Halp?

Here is a link to the demo gallery, I’d really appreciate any help I can get here.
