Support » Plugin: NextGEN Gallery - WordPress Gallery Plugin » [Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Page jumps to top when 'next' or 'previous' in gallery

  • I have inserted two galleries into one page and they work fine, but when clicking ‘next’ or ‘previous’ the page refreshes and displays the top of the page, so you have to scroll back down each time – very frustrating! Any advice please?

  • What code do you use to show the gallery?

    I just followed the direction in the NextGen Gallery at the top of the page editer – the box that states ‘Insert Nextgen Gallery’ Select Gallery ‘as ImageBrowser’. the following is what appears on the specific page:

    [imagebrowser id=4]

    [imagebrowser id=5]

    I’ve obviously done something wrong and would appreciate any help you can give – it’s very annoying and will just dissuade people from looking at it!

    Thank you

    I have the same problem. From a thread of eight months ago, I found a discussion of this same issue, with the following instructions:

    To fix the problem, remove the following lines of code:
    document.documentElement.style.overflowX = ”;
    and
    window.scrollTo(0,t.Top);

    But I don’t know where to find this code. I did go to Plugins/Edit in my WordPress admin panel, but could not find these particular lines of code.

    Thank you – it’s good to know I’m not the only one! I had a look for that code and can’t find it either! Someone must know how to fix this?

    Come on you brainy people!!!

    File to edit:
    /wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/shutter/shutter-reloaded.js

    Function to edit:
    hideShutter : function() {
