[Resolved] [Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Outsourcing design of widget

  • Hi,

    everytime I update NGG I have to change the nggwidget.php and the nggallery.css so the widget fits properly in my theme.

    Is there a way of outsourcing the style of the widget, as possible with other widgets?

  • the css can be included inyour theme.css

    what do you need to change in the php ?

    Thanks for the tip with the css. It works fine now.

    About the nggwidget.php I basically just add a list to the widget:

    $out .= "\n".'
    <ul>
    <li class="ngg-widget-slideshow" id="ngg_widget_slideshow'.$galleryID.'">';
    $out .= '<a href="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer">Get the Flash Player</a> to see the slideshow.
    </li>
    </ul>';

    Is there no way of getting the list in there perhaps as an option in the widget-plugin? It would really make updating easier.

    I will have a look to redesign the widgets more flexilbe in the next major version

    Thanks alot
