[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] NGG 1.1b caption passing to HighSlide

  • I have downloaded and installed NGG 1.1b on my experimental blog before trying it on the real one, and can see the captions under the thumbnails. See on my experimental blog:
    http://www.keptlight.com/blog_demo2/?p=355

    I have two questions:
    1. I saw a series of samples on your site, example 1 does not display the captions under the thumbnails. How can I do that?
    2. In the “Effects” section there is a Highslide code that makes that effect work. What should that code be so that HS will know what the caption is. The current code there is:
    class=”highslide” onclick=”return hs.expand(this, { slideshowGroup: %GALLERY_NAME% })”

    Thank you.

  • I have found the answer, it was a matter of adding the following two lines to the embedded JS code in the WS-Highslide plugin:

    hs.captionEval = “this.thumb.title”;
    hs.show_caption=”y”;

    No further reply is necessary for me.
