• I’ve searched for days for a resolution to my gallery problem and tried all the things others have done when they had the same problem, but no luck. When I display with the following [nggallery id=1 template=carousel images=7 ] my gallery shows up fine, but if I change it to slideshow I simply get a rotating ‘loading’-type black box that never changes to the pictures. The id must be right or it wouldn’t show the images as a gallery, and I’ve uploaded the Image Rotator Script in /wp-content/uploads. Still, no slideshow – its driving me mad!

I have another question regarding this plugin. Where I’m displaying my pictures as a gallery rather than a slideshow, I want each image to link to a particular page rather than just to the larger version of the picture. I thought NextGen could do that, but I can’t see how to do it. Many many thanks for any and all help!

[slideshow id=1 w=600 h=400] is the code that just shows black boxes 🙁

    Update (shamefaced!)
I’m posting this here on the offchance that someone else having troubles displaying a slideshow can get benefit from it – I’ve (finally) resolved this part of my question. In the Path to the Imagerotator (URL): field I had http://MYDOMAIN.com/wp-content/uploads/imagerotator.swf which had automatically been filled in when I hit the Search Now button to locate it. By changing the http://MYDOMA... to http://<strong>www</strong>.MYDOMA... my slideshow magically appeared. Yay, one down, one to go. Now, just to work out how to link individual images to pages rather than larger versions…
