[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Nextgen Gallery: different thumbnail sizes on different pages?

Nextgen Gallery requires that the thumbnail size be set on a system-wide basis. However there are some pages on my site where I want the gallery thumbnail images to be rather small, and on other pages I’d like them to be larger. Is there any way to accomplish this?

I wouldn’t even mind having the thumbnails created at the largest resolution I would want to use and then just use width and height attributes to scale them down when calling the gallery. There’s no way to do this with shortcode, but is there any other way?
