NextGen breaking migrated site (2 posts)

I'm trying to migrate my site from one BlueHost server to another (I need a second SSL certificate), and got the site migrated, but three plugins are breaking my ability to access my WP admin when I activate them.

NextGEN gallery is one of these three plugins (the others, fyi, are Premise and Shopp, two paid plugins)

The front end of the site does not seem to be affected, but when I install the plugin and click "activate," all I get is a white page. There is no way for me to get to my WP admin!!!

The tab in my browser also changes from "Plugins < [site name]" to ""

Any suggestions for what to try? I'm using NextGEN gallery to display my artwork, and can't complete the migration until I either get it fixed or figure out an alternative...

Check the home and site URLs in the database. See: http://wordpress.shadowlantern.com/2010/09/how-change-wordpress-url-phpmyadmin/

Check that you are running the latest versions of those plugins and also the latest version of WordPress. Set your theme to either twentyten or twentyeleven while you test.

Also check your Memory Limit. See: https://my.bluehost.com/cgi/help/552
    And: https://my.bluehost.com/cgi/help/110
