I recently upgraded my site and decided to move the shortcode for imagebrowser:
<table class="ngg-center"><tbody><tr><td><?php echo do_shortcode('[imagebrowser id=1]'); ?></td></tr></tbody></table>
to content above the loop:
# include 'bfa://content_above_loop';
I did some custom changes to the default CSS style sheet and am happy with what is displayed.
There are (2) issues that I noted in running the site Swanson Photos.
1) When a category is selected, and the next/back navigation is used, the permalink changes from (for example):
So in the form blog_url %cat gallery_image, instead of blog_url cat_paged gallery_image
This causes the pagination to end (is at single post now) and also expands the read more tag (and I assume excepts).
How would I proceed to have NextGen read the theme generated url, append it with gallery image to then be the url (and not the first post in the category)??
2) It seems in IE7 that the image is not re-sized as it is in IE8,9 or other browsers. Any thoughts/tips/hacks?
I am using WP 3.2.1, Atahualpa 3.7.1, NextGen 1.8.4, WP-PageNavi 2.8.1 and some other plugins which when deactivated do not affect any of above.
Last, it seems not just I, but many are desirous of a random function for rotating images (not always starting with the first item in the gallery).
