I tried editing the ngg config file to include the direct path but to no avail.
Is there any reason that moving from one server to another would cause the slideshow to STOP working completely? I have checked that the new server meets all the requirements:
WordPress 2.7.1
PHP 5.2.6
GD 2 Library
Freetype Support
Safe-Mode Off
ONe more thing…I’m getting a 404 error on another one of my websites as well that says,
404 URL: http://essentialbodybasics.com.au/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/xml/imagerotator.php?gid=1&122
I’m wondering waht this means? Any ideas?
This was working perfectly until I changed to a new server.
All fixed by changing the file permissions to 755 as in this post here…

Further to that post you need to set wp-content also to 755, this error is common to shared-hosting environments where the sysadmin has pumped up the security restrictions, here’s a link to the step-by-step fix.
