 * I can’t seem to create a link to my slideshow on my homepage. I figured out how
   to creat the link on othere pages but not on homepage sidebar. Thanks in advance
   for the help!

 * you have the widgets you can add to your sidebar. Go to Appearance –> Widgets
   and check for NextGen Slideshow

 * I have the NextGen slideshow on the sidebar but can’t create a hyperlink to the
   slideshow from there as I can from individual pages
