BACKGROUND: I’ve created a page with the shortcode: [album id=x template=compact].
EXPECTE: When a user clicks on a gallery from my album page (the page with the shortcode) the browser populates the page with the images from the gallery.
PROBLEM: However, when the user then clicks an image from gallery, the link is broken and nothing happens (except a generic browser error message about the content not being available).
MORE: The links generated for the images within the gallery within the album follow this scheme: nggallery/page-n/album-n/gallery-n/image/n …WHILE, the scheme for the images just inside a gallery just inside a page (no album/album shortcode) follow this scheme: nggallery/page-n/image/n/
NOTE 1: The image links within a gallery within a page — no album/album shortcodes — work as expected, loading the larger image.
NOTE 2: I wonder about the image links for the album, because the example posted at the NextGen website indicates a different scheme: local…/page-n/album-n/gallery-n/unique-file-name-and-type (e.g., *.*).
Am I missing something? Looking for a simple fix that works.
