[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Image thumbnail creation stalling at 1

I’ve successfully installed NextGen, and I’ve installed and used it on other websites in the past.

This time, there’s an issue or two.

When I upload photos to a gallery, no matter how many or how few, all the photos will upload but the system will stall after making just one thumbnail. The admin says the thumbnail was successfully created, and the meter shows the proper percentage of the job is complete. But no more thumbnails will be created and the process stalls there.

2. If I upload a folder full of photos by FTP, then point NextGen at the folder, it will not recognize the photos. It will list the gallery and create the thumbs subfolder, but will not show any photos as being in the folder.

Any ideas?
