# [Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] IE Javascript Error

 * Hi,
 * I am having trouble in IE. When I edit a thumbnail and click on update, I can
   no longer update the thumbnail again unless I refresh the page.
 * This is the error it displays when you click on the small yellow error icon
 *     ```
       Message: Expected ')'
       Line: 548
       Char: 31
       Code: 0
       ```
   
 *     ```
       Message: Expected ')'
       Line: 570
       Char: 31
       Code: 0
       ```
   
 * When I resize the images, it works, but there is also a message displayed:
 *     ```
       User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 6.0; Trident/4.0; SLCC1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; Media Center PC 5.0; InfoPath.2; .NET CLR 3.5.21022; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30618)

 * My guess is that it has some thing to do with jquery and IE. It works perfectly
   fine in Firefox and Safari.
 * Your help will be much appreciated.
