[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] How to change the thumbnail appearance on hover ?

  • Hello,

I am using the NextGEN Gallery plugin (which is great by the way) and I am trying to have the thumbnails in the gallery appear black&white when you hover over one with the mouse it then changes to its colour version.

I have loaded all the colour images in a gallery and then I have added the black&white versions of the thumbnails to the thumbs folder in the gallery folder.

I am now having a go at thinkering the nggfunctions.php file to add some onmouseover and onmouseout events to do the hover image swapping. I can do this quite nicely in a normal html file with JavaScript, but in php it’s a bit out of my league and so far I only get php errors.

Anyone any ideas or suggestions ?
    I would be very grateful,

    Jo.
