[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Gallery Template Creation

-my question falls on the line of how and where can i see documentation to create an gallery am new to this framework, i am trying to create an gallery like this one here http://thatblackgirlsite.com/blog/photos/naacp-the-winners-circles/ can someone please assist me with this i have already copied the files into my themefolder into folder called nggallery and i renamed the gallery.php file already and the short code is linked to the gallery as well am seeing thumblist but want to modify it to do an gallery like the link there…
