  • Resolved Motoristi

    This is a recent version issue since it was not present when I started using NGG.

    1) Floating a singlepic produces four unwanted <br /> tags into the resulting html. Sample the code is placed thus (don’t mind the Finnish language):
    ... todella sujuvasti. [singlepic id=3386 w=100 h=75 float=right]Matkalaukutkin saapuivat ...
    So I wanted to float the image in the middle of a paragraph. The resulting html:

    ...  todella sujuvasti.<br />
    <a href="'image name'" title="Kuljetusta odotellaan." class="highslide" onclick="return hs.expand(this, { slideshowGroup: 'singlepic3386' })" ><br />
    	<img class="ngg-singlepic ngg-right" src="'cached image name'" alt="Kuljetusta odotellaan." title="Kuljetusta odotellaan." /><br />
    </a><br />
    Matkalaukutkin saapuivat ...

    2) Gallery list was a neat collection of thumbs. Now it has extra white space with paracgraph codes before and between rows. Like this before the gallery:

    <div class="ngg-galleryoverview" id="ngg-gallery-315-2302">
    <p>	<!-- Thumbnails --></p>
    <div id="ngg-image-3387" class="ngg-gallery-thumbnail-box"  >

    Please tell me the version that I can go back to in order to fix this. Now all my neat galleries and singlepics are a complete mess.

  • Figured it out.

    WP seems to add line breaks to all echoed linefeeds and paragraphs to double linefeeds. Removing ALL echoed white space from files in the view subdirectory fixed the issue and now all images sit exactly where I put them.

    The php files do not read pretty now and I can’t allow updates to the plugin but that is a minor issue.
