[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Different effect for single photo and for gallery, how?

I have this problem. On my website I have long text with some pictures inside and gallery at the end, just 4 thumbnails and pagination. When I use shutter effect, gallery works without refreshing website page when I switch between pages of the gallery. But when I close the gallery or picture which was opened in popup window and I am on the beginning of the text. When I use thickbox effect, pictures working fine, but not the gallery, every time when I open next page in the gallery and I am on the top of the page and have to scroll to the bottom. Thats why, please, somebody to tell me how to stop this refreshing of the page or how to use one effect for single picture and other for gallery?
