# [Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Description Overlay for basic slideshow

 * I am trying to do something which should be simple, but I cannot figure it out&
   am looking for tutorials.
 * I would like to get the image description to appear as a text overlay for its
   image in the basic slideshow (the one that uses the slideshow shortcode). Is 
   there a tag I can add to the shortcode to do that? Or can I make / download a
   custom template that will do that for me?
 * Any guidance / points to tutorials would be appreciated. I have googled this 
   to death and can’t find anything anywhere.

 * PS I am not sure which template NextGen uses to pull up the slideshow, from which
   I could borrow to do a custom template. Any advice, appreciated
