Change NextGen Image URLs (3 posts)

I uploaded all my media files at wp-content/uploads including uploads for my NextGen Galleries.

I have set a subdomain (images.freedomwall.net) that directs to /wp-content/uploads. With this, my images on my posts utilizes the subdomain link, say http://images.freedomwall.net/blogger-health.png instead of the longer http://www.freedomwall.net/wp-content/uploads/blogger-health.png. Both links are active.

Now my question is, how could I rewrite the URLs of the images in my NextGen for it to automatically use the subdomain link instead of the original and longer link (the link containing wp-content/uploads).

The image link below is shows one of the images in my NextGen Gallery

but I want it to be http://images.freedomwall.net/coron/coron-photo-by-john-marx-velasco-7.jpg every time I right click and Copy Image URLs.

Is Freedomwall.net your primary domain on the server? If so then the images.freedomwall.net subdomain should just be a folder called images in the root folder. Try changing the gallery path to: images/ if that is the case and see what happens.

Let me know how you get on with this, as I will be looking to do a similar thing in the future.

my wordpress is in my root and media directory remains at wp-content/uploads

that is why I can access my media files using both http://images.freedomwall.net and http://www.freedomwall.net/wp-content/uploads.

If you would like to know how I did this, see Method 2 from the instruction posted here http://www.freedomwall.net/2012/08/how-to-upload-worppress-media-files-or-images-in-new-directory-or-subdomain/

My question is how to rewrite my nextGen image urls to http://images.freedomwall.net instead of http://www.freedomwall.net/wp-content/uploads
