[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] central storage throws 500 error on gallery add

  • Hello,

We use a Windows hosting cluster with centralised storage.
    The homefolder is \\storage\username\wordpress

When I add a new gallery, the server throws a 500 error.
But when I move the site to local storage (c:\wwwroot\username\wordpress), all works well.

Can someone tell me how I can fix this?
Obviously I want to use our Windows Hosting cluster with centralised storage instead of a standalone server…

    edit:
    Wordpres Version: 3.5.1
    NextGEN Gallery Version: 1.9.12

  • I thought 500 errors had to do with the .htaccess file.

I always keep a backup locally and just send a new one up to the root folder on my server.

Have you changed that in any way ?

I work on a Windows (IIS) cluster.
    .htaccess is not present.

I’m sure it’s about the double backslash in front of the location of the scripts and album.

But I can’t seem to find the responsible code for this to change it…
