I really like NextGen and the ability to finally create some order in the mess of media files, given that NG offers to create galleries.
I have three or four users posting to my blog and they upload pictures they insert into their post/page. Currently, these end up in the dreadful media library and after 100 pictures in there, it becomes a true mess.
Would it be possible to have the “wp-admin/media-upload.php” default to the NextGen upload function? I could then maybe also create a new gallery and upload my topic image through NG.
This way, a contributor could write a post, upload an image into a specific gallery (let’s say “cars”), and then insert it into the post. this way, when somebody else looks for a cars image, they can find the image previously uploaded and use it…
This would really help a lot, I am sure other users have had this request before but I couldn’t find it here…
