• Hi,

    I’ve moved my wordpress hosting from GoDaddy to BlueHost. Since then the Next Scripts: Social Networks Auto Poster Options’ plugin fails to post to my WordPress blog. I verified that, if I switch my hosting to GoDaddy it just working fine. Let me know what I could possibly missing here.

    The error is reporting is:
    [2016-04-26 15:10:31] – [Error] [WP – gunnalag.wordpress.com] – -=ERROR=- Array ( [pgID] => [isPosted] => 0 [pDate] => 2016-04-26 09:40:31 [Error] => -=ERROR=- Something went wrong – 500 : You are not allowed to do that. ) | PostID: 0 –

    Thanks,
    Govardhan

  • I find it pretty hard to understand why you would use the SNAP plugin to “post to my WordPress blog”. The whole purpose of the SNAP is to post things that are already posted on your blog also on social networking sites such as FB, G+, Twitter etc.
    SNAP is getting a bit neglected by the developers though and a new version upgrade has been announced for ages but not delivered. The plugin included in the standard Jetpack, called Publicize, might suit your needs perfectly, maybe.

    Hi ReneDLH,

    The purpose I post to WordPress.com blog is to maintain a backup copy of all my posts in case if my personal hosting WordPress installation goes bad/unavailable.

    I already use JetPack Publicize on my site.

    Hi,

    Has anyone got a chance to review why would WordPress.com through “ERROR=- Something went wrong – 500 : You are not allowed to do that.”?

    Thanks,
    Govardhan
