  • Hey, but then Newsletter is not WP3.0 compatible and bogs up big time on Multi Site setup so… That puts MailPress back in pole position for me 😉

MailPress is difficult to understand. For a newbie, you have no hope of getting it right without getting frustrated…

Both have their good points and flaws.

I’m using both on different sites.

I’ve not been able to get any of them to work properly in multisite sub-blogs. Was hopeful of mailpress and wp-autoresponder.

I tried turbulent software’s autoresponder plug-in and for $49 it was pretty great. Sub blogs are able to use it with no problem in a multisite installation.

While that’s all fine and good I chose to use a paid solution for my multisite and a different system system for my website development that allows me to manage the campaigns of my subscribers while they pay the company directly. It allows me to mark up the service as much as I want.
