    Hey Chris,

    Subscribers are tracked by the newsletter service you use indeed. So in your case, check MailChimp.

    If you are testing the plugin with an emailaddress that is already on your list the newsletter service you’re using will most likely just ignore the request. So make sure to test with an email address that is NOT on the list yet.

    Also, check if you’ve accidently checked the checkbox that says “Prevent double opt-in?”.
