  • Resolved csigncsign

I use version 3.0.7 now and the output date is in English, although I use WP in German and all blog posts’ dates are in German format:

    j. F Y

How can I change the output in your plugin into the German format?

Then I have translated the .pot file with PoEdit into German and saved it as / trans-nlp-de_DE.po

Although I have translated my texts into German, I have still the output “published on” and not my translated version.
I have deleted with FTP all po-mo files and kept only the German po-mo files. Although no German translation in the plugin’s output.

    I use this shortcode:

    [nlposts number_posts=3 time_frame=7 title_only=false display_type=block blog_id=1,13,7 thumbnail=true excerpt_length=300 full_meta=true thumbnail_wh=290x90 auto_excerpt=true excerpt_length=80 excerpt_trail=image]

    How can I fix this?

    Hi CS,

Thanks for your feedback, actually that’s my fault I forgot to add the text domain to those strings, it’s fixed now, I just uploaded an upgrade to fix the strings. The new languages.pot is inside the languages folder, just update your translation file to pick the new strings and it should be fine.

Regarding your question about the date, the plugin picks the format date specified under Settings > General > Date Format, you can check this working on my network test lab Displaying Full Metainfo as you can see there my site in english shows: 8ª Elite in English – Published on May 5, 2012 by José Luis and my site in spanish: 8ª Elite en Español – Published on 5 May, 2012 by José Luis
