  • When you run the plugin for the first time it notifies my site that the plugin has been installed on your site.
I was wondering what percentage of downloaded plugins actually gets installed and this is the reason I put it in there.
You can safely comment out a line or two that does the actual call.

Thanks for the info, can’t be too careful and this could have been interpreted as a phishing scheme.

It would be cool if this plugin could only show “active” plugins.

I had considered at one time doing something similar with my plugins. I don’t really see it as a problem, however it would certainly be handy for the developer to comment that section though so that people don’t get suspicious.
