[Plugin: My Category Order] Need sub menus to always show

Hello, I need to always have the subcategories shown without having to click on Videos and slideshows under the Videos and Slideshows category. How do I do this? I want the menu to show at all times like it does on this page: http://setsail.com/category/sailing-videos-slideshows/

Also, any idea as to how I make the Videos and Slideshow page just have the text and not the blog posts on that post that come with that category? So for instance on this page: http://setsail.com/category/sailing-videos-slideshows/ I want just the text on the head category page videos and slideshows and for the specific blog posts to only show up once they click on the specific sub categories.
