    I have read and re-read the help page and I can not tell if this is even possible. Can anyone tell me please if it is possible to link my front page ordered list of events to their respective events details page?

    Using the {details} template tag would seem like what you want. This is documented on the plugin help page.

    adding anything to my shortcode does not seem to do anything ;/ I am not suing the widget I am simply adding the following to my front-page.php page

    <div id="sidebar">
        	<h2>Today's Schedule</h2>
        	<ul class="event_list">
           <?php echo do_shortcode('[my_calendar_today]'); ?>
            </ul>
        </div>

    I do not want to show details, I want to click the title and have it lead me to the details page.

    So, there was a bug in the today’s events shortcode/widget, which is fixed with My Calendar version 1.9.5; I just made the commit, so it’ll be available soon.

    Many thanks Joe!

    One thing though, is it really necessary to have two links to the details? the details link should be enough, the about “event name” seems redundant.

    wait nm that was my fault.. was my shortcode.. again thank you very much for your work Joe. This calendar is by far the best iv seen yet.
