[resolved] Mobile support/conflict with supercache (2 posts)

I have to disable the mc_is_tablet and mc_is_mobile function, by always returning false, because otherwise, supercache caches the mobile version and then shows it to the next desktop visitor.

I haven't delved into the supercache code, but I know there is some way of making supercache use a different cache file (index-mobile.html) rather than the main cache file, so then the caches stay separate.

I'm not sure how hard that is, and I did see a comment that it would be an option to disable the mobile stuff in a later release, so that might be good enough for me, but thought you should know about the supercache conflict if you didn't already.

Nope, didn't know about that conflict. Good to know - I'll have to think about that.
