Support » Plugin: My Calendar » [Plugin: My Calendar] ICal export broken

  • Resolved tokei23

    I’ve installed the latest 1.7.8 to a WordPress 3.1. Everything is running fine, with one exception: the iCal export. If I activate the link in the preferences and click on it, I get

    ERROR: my-calendar-ics is not a valid feed template.

    I’ve investigated with my very basic understanding of the WordPress API and discovered, that if I change the RSS output to point to the iCal export, I can manage to get an iCal file:

    if ( get_option('mc_show_rss') == 'true' ) {
           add_feed( 'my-calendar-rss', 'my_calendar_ical' );

    That leads my to the conclusion that there is something wrong with the registration of the iCal feed.

    Yes, you’re right – it’s a typo, actually. The get_option reads ‘mc_show-ics’ instead of ‘mc_show_ics’ — this is already fixed for the next release.
