[Plugin: Music Affiliate Pro] Using TradeDoubler with a wrapper after the iTunes link

    First off, you couldn’t have made this plugin any better. It’s brilliant, responsive (as your website suggests) and runs like clockwork.

    Now, to contradict the first line. How can I use an alternative affiliate, because I’m in the UK and cannot use the LinkShare affiliate links. I know you make think I merely need to use another wrapper, but the problem comes with there being a wrapper after the iTunes link (as my title suggests rather blankly). How would I incorporate this, as I hate touching code. Period.

    Anyway, cheers for the mega plugin (is that what you yanks say?) and hopefully will have this fixed.

    Hi Alex, thanks for the positive feedback. I don’t have plans to add support for additional affiliate networks in the near future, but feel free to shoot me an email and we can probably come up with something to get your TradeDoubler links working.

    Yeah the plugin is fantastic. I’ve sorted the Amazon side out really easily butI’m having exactly the same problem with the iTunes side as Alex. I’m not fantastic with code but I’ve come up with this http://clkuk.tradedoubler.com/click?p=23708&a=1995293&url=http%3A%2F%2Fitunes.apple.com%2Fus%2 . I doubt this is correct though so thought I’d ask for you help if possible.

    Hi Steve, I’m not sure what you’ve done to this point, but I’d recommend not changing code in the plugin, otherwise it’ll be overwritten by future updates.

    Instead, since the plugin only works with US networks at the moment, leave the iTunes affiliate fields empty and add the code in this Pastebin to your theme’s functions.php file: http://pastebin.com/XKsqBdVJ

    Hopefully that should do it.
