    Is it possible to show just a tag map of a specific category?

    I was already looking for that kind of possibilty. It would really reduce the view of the index to a manageable size, in case there are many tags set.

    great idea! would love to have that too! many tags on my side only make sense with a certain category. so this would be very useful for me.

    Love your tag column list. But I really need to display tag lists by category. How can this be accomplished?

    Version 11.0 has a new option "from_category" that will allow you to list tags only form a specified category. It is used like:

    from_category="3"

    in the shortcode.

    I tested this and used this shortcode:
    [mctagmap columns="3" from_category="3" more="mehr »" hide="yes" num_show="5" toggle="« weniger" show_empty="yes"]

    ...but there a two issues I think:

    1.) Some tags are shown multiple times, like under "A": Asia, Asia, Asia, Asia and so on.

    2.) If I click on a tag on that map, I also get results from beyond the category with the ID=3.

    owcv,

    1. Good catch on the duplicate tags. My test site didn't have that issue. It should be fixed in 11.0.3

    2. I added in URL variables that can be passed to your tag archive. The plugin will not make this happen automatically. You will need to modify your theme. Make sure you read the installation page, specifically the "Theme Addition" section near the bottom.
