[Plugin: MSMC – Redirect After Comment] feature request

    I have a special need:

    I am showing only one post on my home page and the comments are hidden by javascript. as soon as one clicks the: view comments button the comments slide in (using the default comments template) – now if one comments, after submitting one is sent to the singular view of the article on commented on.

    I’d very much like to keep the visitor exactly where he was…..

    so if he was commenting on mydomain.tld/page/3/ then that is where I’d like him to stay, otherwise his browsing experience will be disturbed…

    any change you can implement something like this?

    Feature has been added. Simply enter [last] in the URL field instead of a URL and users should be directed back to whatever page they commented on after commenting. This overrides ‘redirect to permalink’ settings etc.

    hey Josh,

    I’ve got another feature suggestion if it can be done:

    how about having the option do to different redirect for some comment forms?

    i.e. I post about a contest and want commenters who comment on that post to be redirected to another place?

    how about your plugin first looks if a custom field with a certain name exists on that post lets say msmc and if it does redirects comments on that post to the URL specified in the custom field, if it doesn’t it redirects to the global setting specified in your plugin’s options?
