Support » Plugin: MP3-jPlayer » [Plugin: MP3-jPlayer] wp-content hardcoded

By default, this plugin doesn’t work for people who are aware of the security on their WordPress installation. For some time now, users can modify the wp-content path in their config file to move it to some other place. This plugin however has “wp-content” hardcoded in mp3j_frontend.php and mp3j_main.php.

A quick fix is to do a search-and-replace in the aforementioned files and replace wp-content with your actual path, but it would be nice if the developer would make this plugin compliant to the way WordPress works with settings from the config file. 🙂

  • Ruben, thanks for that – I hope it will get looked into by the developer.

On a different topic, I am looking for an html5 MP3 player with a simple play/pause button – no text; any ideas?
