Support » Plugin: MP3-jPlayer » [Plugin: MP3-jPlayer] Widget plays on home page but no other page or posts

  • I love this plugin but I cannot get it to work on the internal pages or posts.

Go to the site and you can see the player and functions perfectly. However, you visit a page with the same sidebar and the player does not function.

This is happening to all of my installations of this plugin and would love to find a solution.

Thanks for the plugin and please help find a solution for this.

Hi surfintica, the player’s scripts aren’t loading on those other pages for some reason. Can you turn on the player debug (on the settings page under ‘template options’) and i’ll take another look?

Are you using the same or different themes on your other installs?

I’m having the same problem. The mp3-jPlayer within pages or posts won’t load (using a short code).

However, if I have the widget activated on a sidebar, the player will load within page, etc.

    Can you take a look?

P.S. I sent you an email through the contact form of your website as well.

    Greetings all,

I did what Simon did above and it works for me but obvious the player is not working correctly.

To reiterate: I was able to have the player work on the home page but no other page until I added the widget mp3j-sh to the widgets and left it blank – for this solution do NOT use the shortcodes in the player widget it does not work. Just add the widget and save.

That did the trick for me sucks it took two months to figure out, I will make it a goal to check back here more often for solutions

Thanks to the dev for the player
