Support » Plugin: MP3-jPlayer » [Plugin: MP3-jPlayer] Control the widget via links in the page

  • Hi,

I use JPlayer as a widget in my sidebar. I currently use the widget in Mode 2 (fixed comma seperated playlist), and it works great!

I would like to be able to control which track is being played via links in the content of my page.. is there a way to do that?

In other words, the sidebar would contain a player with a playlist (track1.mp3, track2.mp3, track3.mp3). The text in the page would then have e.g. a link “listen to track 1”, and this would change the playing track on the player to track 1.

    Thanks in advance!
    M.

I like this idea, and it could be done quite easily with a bit of js. Could have more of an in-line player feel. Would need to think it thru in terms of a plugin feature..
