[Resolved] [Plugin: Most And Least Read Posts Widget] question about the hits number

    Hi alhalkab,
    the difference is that analytics stats (e.g. Google Analytics) are javascript based so they only counts hits from a browser with JS enabled: hits from robots, some mobile phones, or people blocking scripts are not tracked.

    Our plugin, instead, is PHP based so it count every time it serves the page (discarding only the most known robots), so the total hits count is bigger.

    Despite giving different numbers, both the systems are valid. You can think of it like this: analytics stats are focused on real trackable visitors, while our plugin stats are focused on real server load.
