# [Plugin: Mollom] Moderation?

 * I’m probably unique in that i have never used akismet. mollom seems great and
   my question is: should i be turning off the “Before a comment appears” options
   so that WP doesn’t hold my comments for moderation? i had that on and it seems
   that both WP and mollom both had a moderation queue.
 * i know mollom says to turn off other spam plugins but i was not clear about turning
   off native WP moderation.

 * WP Mollom doesn’t hold a comment back after a captcha was succesfully completed.
   That’s something WP does. I’m going to assume the option is controlling this 
   behaviour. Changing it should not affect how Mollom works. Multiple spam mechanisms
   can confuse eachother though. That’s why it’s you shouldn’t (have to) combine
   them.
