[Plugin: Mingle] Avatars now working ?

    When I try to upload an avatar, I get errors as follows;

    First there was no file named “avatar”, so I created it and made it writable. Still no success. – I’m not a coder – sorry – so I have no idea. I UNinstalled Mingle completely, and REinstalled – still the same results. I’m installing using WordPress dashboard installer for plugins, so it’s not a manual install.

    Any HELP PLEASE ? I *REALLY* WANT TO USE ‘MINGLE’ !!!

    I have the exact same problem! I just installed Mingle and attempted to upload an avatar… it exploded in an identical manner.

    Did you get your avatars or Mingle working yet? I STILL can’t get avatars/gravatars to work. I worked on it ALL NIGHT the other night, and felt like I was getting close, but after all night, I HAD to go to bed – now I’m lost again. I don’t know what’s so hard about putting little pictures on a post, but I can’t get it to work. DID YOU? – If so, do you have any suggestions, or can you tell me what you did – PLEASE? – Thank you Jenny!!!

    Update to the latest version 0.0.26. Should fix your avatar issues. Be sure to de-activate the plugin b4 updating. If you need more help head over to wpmingle.com

    I’m having exactly the same problem with version 0.31 which I just installed (I just discovered Mingle).

    Now, it doesn’t even let users delete their avatars and they are stuck with this error shown on the top of the screen.

    Moreover, it shows the same error whenever they try to login (those who have tried to change their avatars).
