  • Resolved mehtuus

    I wanted to send you an email, however I cannot seem to locate yours and so I am posting here.

    I found your excellent plugin a few days ago. In the process of customising the mime types for my site I have also done some simple work on the plugin itself. I would like to submit these changes to you for inspection and possible inclusion for the next version. These changes I have made are live on my site and everything is working great.

    Here is a list of the changes that I made for the plugin on my site:
    * Removed duplicate “png” option from options/default options array
    * Alphabetised file types
    * Changed default image size to “16” (better default because it is closer to text size and does not overwhelm the page with large icons)
    * Changed default image type to “png” (better image)
    * Reworded text and streamlined display format for Enable/Disable classname override, Show File Size, and Asynchronous Replacement.
    * Added ten new mime types: deb, flac, midi, mp3, oga, ogg, ogv, spx, xml, xpi.
    * Changed version to 2.1.6

    I have made the updated file available for you at this link:

    If you wish, you can contact me directly by sending an email to mehtuus at gmail dot com. I would like to hear your thoughts on the changes I have made.

    I found a way to contact the eagerterrier. In addition, I have further updated the plugin. So I have removed the file from the link above.

    @mehtuus – yes, sorry for delay. I don’t get notified of new posts on this forum, so sorry for the delay.

    Mehtuus’ code is incorporated into the latest version of the plugin, so many thanks to him…
